Welcome To Kevin Cochran's Musky Fishing Guide Service
Fishing the Bemidji & Cass Lake Areas of Minnesota
Hello, my name is Kevin Cochran and thank you for taking time to visit my web site. I am the ONLY full-time musky fishing guide in the Bemidji and Cass Lake areas of Minnesota. Muskies are my passion and they are the only fish that I target. I live in Bemidji and am not a traveling guide that bounces around aimlessly from lake to lake. I have fished the lakes that I guide on for years and my clients have been fortunate enough to catch many large fish from them. I have experience guiding beginners that are looking to catch their first fish and seasoned musky fisherman interested in increasing their knowledge of a specific body of water. 2015 marks the 11th I have been guiding muskies in the Cass Lake and Bemidji areas.
Regardless of what you are looking for you will have an exciting and informative time on the water with me. I am an enthusiastic and motivated fisherman that has a passion for muskies. I will provide you with on the water information and techniques that you need to put more and bigger fish in the boat. It is my goal to make sure that your experiences with me are positive and educational. My clients are the focal point of the trip and not me.
Musky fishing in the Bemidji and Cass Lake Minnesota areas is a unique and rewarding experience. There is an excellent chance to connect with a 50 inch fish and muskies in the mid to upper 40 inch range are common. Musky fishing in the area is absolutely incredible. The area is made up of a variety of lakes that me and my clients fish, which range in size from 300 acres to almost 26,000 acres. The composition and structure of these lakes vary greatly which allow me to use many different tactics to put my clients on fish. I am in-tune with the daily patterns and movements due to being on the water every day.
I am the former Vice President of the Bemidji/Cass Lake Chapter of Muskies Inc and also the former Secretary of the Minnesota Muskie and Pike Alliance. I am involved in protecting this vital resource so others will have the chance to experience it. Catch and release is a must and I am an advocate of releasing everything regardless of circumstances. My clients and I quickly photograph and release the fish back in the water so that other anglers will have the exciting opportunity to catch the same fish. We occasionally encounter the same fish and this is what catch and release is all about.
My clients and I are 100% catch and release!
Our fishery depends on it to keep producing trophy fish like this one.
